General Information:

DSC_0690Anyone is welcome to join, or to come out and train at any and all practices.   However if you want to represent Yale at competitions, you must be at every mandatory practice and be available for all competitions. In rare circumstances, if an athlete wants to compete for Yale on another team (eg. Rugby) during track season, I may, at my own discretion, and depending on circumstances, allow that athlete to compete on the track team on a limited basis.   It would be that athlete’s responsibility to discuss such a situation with me at the beginning of the season

Success comes from commitment and hard work. We your coaches will give our best to help you achieve success. In return, you will be expected to commit and give your best effort.   Although track and field consists mainly of individual events, it is still a team sport.   As such, “team” will always come before “I”.   Our goal, like any other team here at the school, is to represent Yale to the best of our ability.

A further, more detailed information package will be forthcoming at the beginning of the season in mid-March.
