| The junior boys rugby team secured 3rd place in the valley with a nail biting 23-22 win over Mouat. The boys had a slow start, but a great run from Rhys Burrnell brought them within 10 points at the half. Akash Deo opened the scoring in the second with another good run, had two penalty kicks and a convert. Next, the forwards took over with a dominating 22 metre drive capped off with Max Goldman closing out the scoring for the Lions. Man of the Match went to Coulson de St Remy for his smart, aggressive play during the game. Way to carry on the legacy! |
